For All Members

• You can switch out colors, add-on colors, and choose your patterns by filling out your survey or emailing Dena (dena@vermontweavingsupplies.com). Please fill out your survey even if you are not making any changes. It makes things go much smoother and it is far more likely that you will receive what you most want.

Club Add-Ons

• You can add on items from the main Vermont Weaving Supplies shop (different shop and account than the subscription account...sorry). All yarn and past kits will receive a 10% discount and free shipping during add/change days. Add-ons will ship with your club order.

• Coupons for add-ons will be send via email. You must use these coupons while checking out or you will not receive your discount. Sorry, but we are not able to refund for orders placed without these codes.

The Pattern

• There are three separate patterns available for this kit. Rigid-Heddle, Four, and Eight-Shaft.

The Colors

• The pattern uses three colors that are close to each other in a gradient (Cayenne, Orange Pale, Melon), and one color that is complimentary to the other three (Bleu Moyen). If you want to use different colors while maintaining the feel of the original project, I suggest that you use a similar strategy (example: 1512 Jaune Pale, 4273 Mauve Fonce, 5120 Mauve Pale, 5214 Magenta).

Rigid-Heddle Looms

• The pattern is for (2) 20”x23” table squares (on loom). Finished size (after hemming and washing) is 17”x20”. The pattern will include directions for adjusting to make narrower or wider, longer or shorter.

• There is enough yarn included with the kit to make at least six table squares (best on more than one warp). You can make more if you have some flexibility for placement of weft colors.

• Equipment needed: (1) 12 dent heddle, (1) pick-up stick, and stick shuttles (4 is ideal but you can use less).

• Warp is doubled through the heddle, and weft is doubled when winding shuttles.

Four and Eight-Shaft Looms

• If you have access to both four and eight-shaft looms, I recommend using the eight-shaft.

• The project is 20” wide on the loom (plus a bit). It can be sized up or down. A 10-dent reed is strongly recommended.

• The kit includes enough yarn to make two table squares, or one longer table runner.

• Half of the yarn needed for the project is the complimentary color (Bleu Moyen).

• I strongly recommend purchasing an extra tube of Bleu Moyen, which will give you enough of everything to make twice what is listed above. You can order this direct when filling out your survey, or from the main webshop.

• If you want to make the rep weave variation, you will need a tube of 16/8 cotton in either Cayenne or Bleu Moyen (or something similar from your stash). You can order this direct when filling out your survey, or from the main webshop.
