The project is 22" on loom and can easily be adjusted. Instructions are included in the pattern for changing width.

All colors in this project work together to create the pattern. If you are not in love with the palette, there are alternate color suggestions on the project reveal page.

Rigid-Heddle Project

12 dent heddle, two per slot, two per hole, no pick-up

Center towel: plain weave in single color bands (Fuschia, Jaune Fonce, Vert Emeraude). If you do not want to use two shuttles, any of these colors on their own work well, or you can alternate them as in the photo.

Outside towels: Alternating two picks dark, two picks light with 8/2 doubled.

If you like using boat shuttles and not fussing too much, Leclerc has a wonderful double bobbin boat shuttle to make it easy to double the weft.

Full disclosure: I wove these samples on my four-shaft loom using the exact same set up as the four shaft towels.
