The warp on this project is Peche

  • This is an easy project to change colors on...warp, weft, or supplemental.

Rigid Heddle and Four-Shaft

This project uses a single weft for the main part of the napkin and two wefts for the borders. You can use any of the four colors for your weft, or mix and match.

There is enough Peche for a warp of four napkins plus samples, the main weft for one napkin, and a bit left over for the supplemental border weft. The pattern will include options for color placement on your borders, but you can also mix, match, and play.

If you want to make more than four napkins, order a second tube of Peche.

Eight-Shaft

This project uses two shuttles and two different colored wefts throughout the whole project (ground weft and your pattern weft).

You can mix and match any of the four colors for coordinating, but not identical napkins.

There is enough Peche for a warp of four napkins plus samples, and either the ground weft or pattern weft for one napkin.

There are plenty of all of the other colors to mix and match.

If you want to make more than four napkins, order a second tube of Peche.

The pattern includes three different treadling options for one threading. You can weave these all using the same treadling, or you can use different treadlings for different napkins.
