Four Choices in One Pattern
This is a small project and you can make many! There is enough warp yarn for 24-30 mug rugs and each skein of weft is enough for 12 mug rugs. If you want to weave extras, get one additional tube of 8/4 cotton for up to 36 mug rugs.
The Weft
Briggs and Little Heritage
Briggs and Little Heritage is a rustic woolen yarn, manufactured in New Brunswick, Canada, at a mill with a 165 year long history.
It comes in a wide range of colors, will full and felt beautifully, and is perfect for hard wearing mug rugs. The price point can’t be beat ($9 per 4 oz skein) which means we can offer three skeins with each kit. Even more love to spread around!
We are also introducing this yarn in our shop and are looking forward to exploring it more, especially for blankets.
