The Colors
OTHER Weft COlors TO CONSIDER
All of the samples have the same warp done with all four colors. The alternate colors are made by changing out the weft only. The rigid-heddle napkins are on the right in the photos below (except for the right hand photo which just shows the huck napkins). The napkins on the left are the four and eight-shaft versions of Project #1.

The Details
Four and Eight Shaft Napkins
The pattern covers similarities and differences between huck spot, huck lace, and hybrid huck.
The project is 18” in the reed, 324 warp threads. Finished size is 15”x16”.
The directions are for four napkins, with adjustments included for more or less.
There is enough yarn included in the kit to make up to 12 napkins, or to make less and have leftover to add to your stash.
On four-shafts, the huck covers the full surface. On eight-shafts, the lace is in a diamond pattern with plain weave around the edges.
By alternating colors in the warp, you can achieve different color effects.
This project lends itself well to exploring a wide range of weft colors.
Rigid Heddle Napkins
Width of warp on the loom is 16” and instructions are included for making it narrower or wider.
It requires a 12 dent heddle, 2 per dent and 2 per slot.
The warp is primarily Bleu with less of Limette, Vert Fonce, and Mauve.
The pattern is for two or four napkins and can be adjusted to make more or less.
There is enough yarn included to make up to eight napkins on one or two warps.
