About Our Clubs

Weaving clubs are a great place to build knowledge, creativity, and have some fun!

We offer two weaving clubs—Build & Create and Learn, Build & Create. Each club is available for Rigid Heddle, Four-Shaft, or Eight-Shaft looms.

Six times a year you will receive a shipment of Brassard cottons in a curated color combination along with a pattern for either napkins or dishtowels.

Your package will contain enough yarn to complete the project and have some extra for your stash. By the end of the year you will have a lovely assortment of colors available for your own play.

If you want to study with Dena, you can take it one step further with the Learn, Build & Create club. Along with your pattern, you will receive a detailed weaving lesson followed by a Zoom session for show & tell and questions & answers.

More on Our Learn Club

Part learning, part social, part support.

The Learn clubs are a great program for weavers troubleshooting the nuts and bolts, for weavers who want to dig deeper into structure theory, and for weavers wanting more connection and support from other weavers.

Included with the Learn clubs are written learning supplements, access to extra videos, packed with information and helpful hints, and group zoom meetings (office hours) that meet every 7-10 days on a schedule that rotates to give the most access for the most weavers.

All videos from past kits are made available to Learn club members, including videos on how to warp your loom and throw your shuttle correctly, and past zoom meetings.

The Details

WHICH LOOMS?

Patterns and lessons will be tailored to your loom. Choose Rigid Heddle, Four-Shaft, or Eight-Shaft.

Over the year we will delve into project planning, color mixing, reading a draft, working with blocks (shaft loom only).

For rigid heddle weavers, we will explore project planning, pick-up techniques, using two heddles (or doubling up with one), and hand-manipulated lace techniques.

BONUS CONTENT

First shipment will include a Brassard Cotton Color Card.

Additional yarn ordered to ship with your club box is eligible for a 10% discount, shipping included

TIMING FOR YOUR CLUB

Sign-up deadline is the 10th of the club month (January, March, May, July, September, November).

Color combinations (reveals) will be posted around the 18th of the shipping month.

Changes to orders are due five days after a reveal (exact date will be emailed to club members each shipping month).

Club boxes will start shipping at the end of the shipping month.

Learn club Zoom meet-ups happen every 10-14 days on a rotating schedule.

Payments

Payment for your first box will happen when you sign-up. After that, payments will be processed on the 7th of the shipping month. Your initial payment at sign-up is non-refundable.
