the vision

My life calling is to empower others to make cloth, and in doing so, help them discover, develop and build confidence in their ability to create beauty.

I am a weaving teacher. This is the foundation for every product I sell, every customer I speak with, every conversation I have with another weaver. It is all about learning and teaching. I want you to weave. I want to empower you to weave.

Growing from the seeds of Vermont Weaving School, and from not being able to meet in person during covid, I have built Vermont Weaving Supplies as a business to teach and empower.

While sales of fabulous products is crucial for long-term viability, I will also be incorporating information and education into sales.

There is an educational blog to help you learn about yarn and weaving, and the club memberships are designed to teach you as you create. Each project teaching a new set of skills, built on the previous projects.

Seeds are sewn in the soil of adversity. I am grateful for the time to rest and regroup. I am grateful for the SBA pandemic assistant loans and the Vermont emergency business grants. I am grateful for the guidance I have received. It has all enabled the dream to become a reality.

When you buy a loom through me, you will also have access to instructional videos that help teach you how to use it.

If you have follow-up questions, I am available. Smaller questions via email and phone, larger questions through Zoom office hours in Vermont Weaving Clubs.

Let’s build together.
